Shugga was a little surprised that she had to be x-rayed before entering the terminal. Really, can't a girl maintain a little privacy. But it wasn't too bad, a little tingly was about it.There's Shugga's plane getting fueled, loaded and ready to go. Shugga was so excited and not nervous at all.
Well, maybe a little touch of the nervous but she hid it well. She's never flown in an airplane. And all that water. No land in sight for hours. You'll do great Shugga, nothing to worry about at all.
Lucky for Shugga she got a window seat. Everything was smooth sailing until the plane started to taxi to the runway. Shugga started to get some butterflies in her stomach as the engined revved up and her heart was pumping. She was saved by the sweet little boy sitting next to her who notice she was looking a little green and sweaty. He shared one of his tootsie pops with her and held her hand as the plane sped down the runway and launched into the air. Shugga was mighty grateful.
Once air born Shugga settled in quite nicely. The seat was quite spacious. She doesn't know why anyone would complain about being cramped. She had to settle for apple juice from the in flight beverage cart though. No raspberry mint margaritas served on this flight. Sorry Shugga.
The time passed quickly and before she knew it they were preparing to land on the beautiful island of Oahu. She was feeling quite brave on the descent and only had to grab her neighbor's hand once on a sudden dip.
Back on solid ground Shugga headed to baggage claim. Watch out there Shugga, that thing moves.
She was very relived that her luggage made it safe and sound.
As Shugga walked in the front doors of the beach house she was stunned by the overwhelming beauty of the view before her eyes. Pure paradise.
Hele Mai, Shugga. Welcome to the islands.
